Role Overview:

As a Data Scientist, you will play a crucial role in driving data initiatives that support our corporate banking business and operations. You will analyze complex datasets, develop predictive models, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to derive actionable insights that enhance decision-making processes, improve operational efficiency and provide better customer experiences.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis & Modeling: Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Develop predictive models with machine learning techniques and various algorithms to solve business problems
• Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders across business units to understand their data needs and translate them into analytical solutions
• Data Visualization: Create compelling visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Research & Innovation: Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the team
• Documentation & Reporting: Document methodologies and results for Al governance purpose. Present reports on analytical findings, ensuring clarity and accessibility for all stakeholders
• Generative Al/LLM: Leverage generative Al models to automate processes and enhance operational efficiency

 

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor/Master degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in a data science role, preferably within the banking or financial services industry
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL
  • Experience with data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy)
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, Scikit-learn)
  • Experience with LLMs and NLP techniques for analyzing and generating text-based data
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with complex data sets
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
