Key Responsibilities:

Investment Analysis & Financial Modeling:

  • Evaluate investment opportunities through quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Build financial models, valuations, and scenario analyses using various methodologies.
  • Prepare detailed investment reports and support internal approval processes.
  • Conduct market and company research to assess trends and risks.

Transaction Execution & Due Diligence:

  • Support end-to-end M&A transactions, from deal origination to closure.
  • Perform due diligence, providing key insights for strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with finance, legal, and investment teams to ensure alignment and compliance.
  • Review investment agreements, M&A contracts, and fund structures for strategic fit.

Stakeholder & Post-Acquisition Management:

  • Support post-acquisition integration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate across teams (global banking, risk, compliance) to ensure smooth execution.
  • Track investment performance, contributing to ongoing strategy.

Strategic & Market Awareness:

  • Stay informed on market trends and economic conditions impacting M&A activities.
  • Assist senior management with transaction structuring, negotiation, and pitching.
  • Identify new investment opportunities aligned with corporate growth goals.

 

Key Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in M&A, due diligence, or financial consulting is a must. 
  • Experience in a Big Four firm or corporate finance is preferred.
  • Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or Business (CPA, CFA, or CIPD a plus).

Technical & Analytical Skills:

  • Strong financial acumen with expertise in fund management and valuation methodologies.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and investment analysis.
  • Ability to analyze complex contracts, agreements, and financial statements.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication (English and Chinese preferred).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Comfortable collaborating across time zones with global teams.
