About our client:

Our client is a UK law firm looking to hire a Paralegal with Employment / Immigration experience.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the client onboarding process, including ensuring compliance with relevant Know Your Client requirements, opening client and matter numbers and preparing engagement letters;

  • Assist lawyers in the preparation and drafting of employment-related documents, including contracts, policies, and compliance materials.

  • Conduct legal research on employment law issues and summarize findings for team use.

  • Assist clients with immigration applications and processes, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.

  • Prepare and submit visa applications, work permits, and related documentation.

  • Liaise with immigration authorities and clients regarding application status and requirements.

  • Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documentation is up to date and accurately filed.

  • Coordinate meetings, including scheduling and preparing agendas and materials.

  • Assist with billing and invoicing by tracking time spent on tasks and preparing client bills.

Job Requirements:

  • University graduate

  • Fluent English and Chinese

  • Ideally 1 year or more related working experience in employment and or immigration

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
