Senior Associate (PE & Venture Investments)

 

DNA Capital is seeking a high-performing Business Development Associate to support the growth of its FX trading, venture capital, and private equity business lines. This hybrid role spans strategic investment sourcing, project management, and cross-functional coordination with internal and external stakeholders. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth investment processes, maintaining strong relationships, and driving business growth.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support sourcing, screening, and evaluation of venture and private equity opportunities
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and prepare investment memos
  • Coordinate due diligence processes with legal, compliance, and external advisors
  • Track portfolio performance, maintain reporting dashboards, and assist with quarterly reviews
  • Help manage post-investment communication and value-add initiatives with portfolio companies
  • Assist and manage timelines, workstreams, and deliverables for strategic projects and investment deals


Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; CFA or CAIA designation is a plus
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in investment management, private equity, venture capital, or strategic finance roles
  • Proven track record in supporting end-to-end investment processes, from deal evaluation to execution and portfolio monitoring
  • Strong understanding of global markets, FX infrastructure, and private market investment dynamics
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Exceptional financial modeling, analytical, and due diligence skills
  • Strong communication and writing abilities, with experience preparing investment memos and senior management reports
  • Must have high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin are strongly preferred
