Our client is one of the pre0eminent SOE in Hong Kong and Greater China. We are seeking financial services experienced Dispute Resolution/ Litigation Lawyers for a permanent, full-time role with exceptional career prospects.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with management, business team, and external counsel in drafting, negotiating and executing all necessary legal documentation
• Partner with Business and Compliance regarding contentious and regulatory matters, and prepare submissions and correspondences to regulators and counterparties
• Handle contentious and regulatory matters, coordinate with external counsel, ensure high-quality service, and control costs.
• Advise management on legal issues and practices, focusing on effective management and mitigation of litigation, claims, and enforcement risks.
• Advise management on legal risks and business strategies.
• Handle ad hoc internal projects and other assigned responsibilities, such as training and developing procedures, precedents, and checklists.

Requirements:

• Hong Kong qualified lawyer/ barrister with minimum 8+ years of experience in litigation and dispute resolution experience within Financial Services, or regulatory enforcement .
• Preferred experience in regulatory enforcement or similar
• Highly preferred experience in corporate law, preferably in the financial services and investment industries.
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua being a distinct advantage.
