Job Responsibilities:
Provide timely and effective technical support to end-users via various communication channels, including email, phone, and in-person
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues related to desktop computers, including operating system problems, software installations, printer configurations, and network connectivity
Install, configure, and upgrade desktop hardware and software components, including operating systems and productivity suites
Perform routine maintenance tasks on desktop systems, such as applying software updates, antivirus scans, and system optimizations
Collaborate with other IT team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems that require additional expertise
Document support activities, including issue resolution, troubleshooting steps, and frequently asked questions
Assist with the procurement and inventory management of desktop equipment, ensuring proper asset tracking
Provide basic training to end-users on the effective use of desktop systems and software applications
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends related to desktop support.
Job Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in providing technical support for desktop systems in a professional environment
Strong knowledge of desktop operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS) and productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
Familiarity with computer hardware components and peripherals
Understanding of network protocols, IP addressing, and basic network troubleshooting
Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical users
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks independently in a fast-paced environment
