For this position, we are looking for a Virtualization Consultant to assist one of our client – a leading global investment bank.

Key Responsibilities:

The Services shall include (but not be limited to) the following:

• Manage and coordinate on IT assets (VMware vSphere Infrastructure) relocation.
• Works with Project Leads and Virtualization SMEs on project planning activities.
• Ensure requests are always well addressed, in a timely manner, with appropriate reporting.
• Work closely with Infrastructure teams, Application teams, and peers to define clear specifications and gather requirements.
• Do regular follow up with Infrastructure team, Application Support team, Business, and peers.

Requirements

Competencies:

• Proven experience on managing large-scale infrastructure projects, including data center relocations with virtualization infrastructure assets.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure components on VMware vSphere is a must.
• Familiarity with regional IT vendors.
• Effective communication skills for managing stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management abilities.
• Self-starter with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Qualifications Required:

• Technical experience on UNIX/Windows servers, storage, switches, and firewalls will be an advantage.
• ITIL 4 Foundation certification.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
