Based in Hong Kong, we are the first and only company specializing in electric powertrain conversions in the region. Our mission is to refine classic cars for modern use, eliminating oil leaks and reducing maintenance costs.

Role Description

This is a hybrid internship role for a Mobile Application Developer located in Hong Kong SAR. As a mobile app developer for an electric powertrain conversion company, your role is to develop and maintain digital solutions that support the company's operations and enhance the customer experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create user-friendly websites and mobile applications that showcase the company's electric conversion services. Key responsibilities in this role include:

• Website Development: Designing and developing responsive and visually appealing websites that effectively communicate the company's services, expertise, and value proposition to potential customers. This involves creating engaging user interfaces, implementing interactive features, and ensuring seamless navigation.
• Mobile App Development: Building user-friendly mobile applications that provide convenient access to information about the company's electric powertrain conversion services. This includes developing intuitive interfaces, integrating relevant functionalities, and optimizing performance for various mobile platforms.
• Database Integration: Integrating databases into web and mobile applications to store and retrieve information related to electric powertrain conversions. This involves ensuring data integrity, implementing secure data handling practices, and optimizing database performance.
• User Experience (UX) Design: Collaborating with designers and stakeholders to create intuitive and user-centered designs for websites and mobile apps. This includes conducting user research, wireframing, prototyping, and implementing UX best practices to enhance the overall user experience.
• Testing and Debugging: Conducting thorough testing and debugging of websites and mobile applications to identify and resolve any issues or bugs. This includes performing compatibility testing across different browsers and devices to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
• Continuous Improvement: Staying up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in web and mobile app development. Continuously enhancing skills and knowledge to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of digital solutions.
• Collaboration and Communication: Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and project managers, to understand requirements, provide technical insights, and contribute to the overall success of electric powertrain conversion projects. Effective communication skills are crucial for conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in mobile app development
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
• Currently a university student in any STEM related subject

Payment

This is a paid internship starting in early June until the end of August.
