A leading client is seeking a capable Accounting Operations Lead to join their expanding team.
In this newly created role, you will oversee the accounting operations function and manage key stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Accounting Operations team to provide bank reconciliations and accounting support
Review and authorise transactions
Supervise the daily investment operations for ORSO/pension funds
Ensure timely delivery of reporting
Resolve or escalate issues to key stakeholders if/when appropriate
Provide leadership, coaching and support to the team
Requirements:
10-15 years of ORSO or pension funds' bank reconciliations and accounts experience, including 5+ years as a team lead/ manager
Strong understanding of pension administration, legislation, laws and regulations
Experienced with banking platforms, SWIFT and payment processing (local and global payments)
Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
Strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills
Good IT skills and General Ledger Knowledge (PeopleSoft preferred)
Knowledge of aaspire or similar administration systems preferred
Fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin advantageous)
