Job Description
Responsibilities:
Ensure that all payments / receipts are processed correctly and in a timely manner;
Handle payment processing, settlement and clearing systems such as SWIFT, RTGS, FPS, eMBT etc;
Perform a full range of daily operations on remittances and customer transactions including inward and outward remittances, cheques and deposits, FX and account opening etc;
Conduct the compliance review of payment transaction;
Improve the operational efficiency and manage the related operational risks;
Conduct caution list checking at AML system for all payments and receipts;
Review and ensure the bank’s policies and procedures to be update and compliance with various regulations, rules and guidelines;
Participate in projects for producing system requirements, preparing testing plans and conducting user acceptance tests and drill tests;
Handle other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in banking operations;
Bachelor’s Degree or above, preferably in Business, Economics, Accounting, Finance or related disciplines;
Good knowledge of FPS, RTGS, swift payment and anti-money laundering; Sensitive to identifying operation irregularities in operational risk framework;
Experience in account opening or settlement would be an advantage;
Mature, self-motivated, independent and able to work under pressure
Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Mandarin).
