The Engineer will oversee the maintenance, servicing, and inspection of the fleet, ensuring all aircraft remain airworthy and compliant with regulatory requirements. This role involves operational management, and strategic oversight to enhance efficiency and safety within the engineering department.

Our client is a premier aviation organization specializing in the maintenance and operation of both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft. They are committed to delivering exceptional safety, compliance, and engineering excellence. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Engineer to be part of the maintenance team and ensure the highest standards of aircraft performance.

Description

Aircraft Maintenance and Supervision:

  • Conduct and oversee maintenance activities for aircrafts to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Maintenance and Repairs:

  • Perform inspections, repairs, and maintenance on fixed-wing (Cessna 152 and 172) and rotary-wing (Robinson R22 and R44) aircraft systems and components.
  • Ensure aircraft safety by adhering to guidelines set by the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department (CAD) and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM)
  • Checkups in line with OEM specifications and the approved Aircraft Maintenance Schedule (AMS).

Documentation and Compliance:

  • Manage aircraft records, manuals, and maintenance schedules, ensuring timely updates.
  • Implement FAA Airworthiness Directives (ADs) and Manufacturers' Service Bulletins (SBs).
  • Issue Certificates of Release to Service (CRS), Certificates of Maintenance Review (CMR), and Certificates of Fit for Flight (CoFF) post-maintenance.

Team and Resource Management:

  • Schedule maintenance activities for aircraft
  • Rostering of technicians on a weekly basis.
  • Ensure availability of aircraft spares and consumables, and manage tool control and calibration.

Profile

  • Proven experience in aircraft engineering and maintenance management.
  • In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience working with both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to liaise with regulatory bodies and senior management.
  • HKAR-66 B1.2 and/or B1.4 license or equivalent license holder
  • Experience handling Cessna / Robinson aircraft
