How you will make an impact: 

The Procurement Control Specialist is responsible for monitoring and controlling the procurement process to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, goods, and services needed to support business operations. This role acts as a liaison between the procurement team, end-users, and suppliers to effectively manage the procurement lifecycle.

Governance and Compliance

• Monitor and track the status of purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and contracts to maintain procurement visibility and control.
• Review purchase requests, purchase orders, and related documentation for compliance with company policies, procedures, and budgets.
• Maintain detailed records and documentation of procurement activities.

Data Analysis

• Analyze spend data, identify trends, and provide recommendations to improve procurement efficiency and cost savings.
• Identify and address procurement-related risks and issues, and recommend corrective actions. 

Supplier Management

• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize and expedite critical procurement needs.
• Manage supplier relationships, including performance monitoring, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Training and System Management

• Provide training and guidance to procurement staff and end-users on proper procurement procedures.
• Assist with the implementation and optimization of procurement systems and processes.
• Provide operational support for the procurement system, including user training, troubleshooting, and system enhancements.
• Coordinate with IT and other stakeholders to ensure the procurement system is functioning effectively and meeting business requirements.

What we are looking for: 

• Degree holder with professional qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related disciplines
• Minimum 8-10 years of procurement experience (essential)
• Good knowledge of category management in one of more of the categories including but not limited to corporate services, marketing and promotions, maintenance services, labour and service contracts(Essential)
• Capable of negotiation; self-motivated with mature business acumen (essential)
• Familiar with e-Procurement system development and operation (essential)
• Possess high level of integrity, work ethics and good moral values (essential)
• Able to establish, influence and maintain collaborative partnerships and engage in effective negotiations with a broad range of parties. (preferable)
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese, fluent in Mandarin is a plus
