About the Job

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Business Operations to join our telecommunications company. The ideal candidate will lead and oversee various financial and operational functions to drive business strategy, operational efficiency, and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounting Supervision: Manage and supervise accounting functions for wholesale, roaming, inter-operators, and prepaid business operations.
• Accounts Receivable Leadership: Lead accounts receivable, receipt, and credit control functions. Manage and supervise all financial accounting activities related to revenue and accounts receivables including invoices, billings and refunds. Monitor and ensure timely payment of debts and manage recovery actions. Enhance workflow to increase efficiency and strengthen monitoring, driving continuous process improvement.
• Financial Reporting Collaboration: Work closely with the financial reporting team and business unit owners to ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting.
• Revenue Assurance and Financial Analysis: Oversee revenue assurance and financial analysis processes to drive business strategy and profitability improvements. Identify areas for operational optimization and revenue growth. Provide timely and accurate financial analysis to the CFO and top management, supporting business planning and decision-making.
• Consumer Marketing and Corporate Partnership: Partner with consumer marketing and corporate teams to ensure all promotions, offers, corporate tailor-made offers, government tenders, and roaming projects have clear success metrics and are measured for effectiveness. Review and approve proposals, assess their financial impact, and manage associated contracts to ensure alignment of financial goals with overall business objectives.
• Process Improvement and Digital Transformation: Drive process improvements within the team using technology and other value-added techniques to enhance operational efficiency. Partner with cross-functional business management to manage digital transformation initiatives. Lead the finance team in working closely with different units on the execution of digital transformation tasks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines plus professional accounting qualification (e.g. HKICPA, ACCA or other equivalent organizations)
• Extensive 10 years of relevant professional and managerial experience at key positions in accounting, budgeting, finance and/or other related areas, preferably with Telco experience.
• Strong business acumen, excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation and problem-solving skill
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
• Proficient in MS Office applications
