Our client is a global leading Biomedical company. They are looking for a high caliber – Assistant Supply Chain Manager to join their energetic team.

Your role

• Manage the demand planning, order placing and inventory status including monitoring, forecasting and distribution of stocks.

• Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.  Propose and implement solutions to improve accuracy in demand forecast.

• Collaborate with marketing and sales to ensure the forecast accurately reflects product launches and changes to existing products.

• Collaborate and work with principal and internal departments to obtain accurate and current information for demand forecasts.

• Monitor demand forecasts and ensure accurate reporting and analysis of data.

• Initiates and leads short and long term supply plans to balance the demand forecast with cost, efficiency and capacity constraints

Requirements

• 5 years+ hands on experience in demand & Supply planning 

• Experience in liaising with 3PL providers and knowledge of regulatory requirements for medical products would be an advantage.

• Excellent Microsoft excel and analytic skills

• Good team player, detail-minded, can-do mindset, strong numeric sense, willing to gain deeper understanding business/products
