About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Wallem Group. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's accounting operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting. Based in Hong Kong Island, you will play a crucial part in supporting the overall financial management of the business.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Support the Group Finance Team to ensure the assigned accounting books are well maintained at group standard and timeline, including but not limited to general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets and banking functions.

• Provide analysis on ledger balances and maintain bank reconciliation on monthly basis.

• Ensure all business expenditures are properly authorized and supported in time.

• Assist the Accountant to ensure the AR/ AP/ cash position at an optimal status.

• Take part in supporting the month/year end closing, monthly and quarterly variance reports, quarterly forecasts and annual budgeting.

• Take part in the annual statutory audit and preparation of the statutory audited financial statements.

• Support the group finance function on consolidation.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• University degree holder in Accounting / Finance or related discipline.

• HKICPA student member or equivalent.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Finance.

• Good command of written/spoken English and Chinese

• Good communication skills and analytical thinking

Key Knowledge Areas

• Hands on knowledge and experience in financial accounting.

• Knowledge of accounting principles and general practices.

• Knowledge of excel spreadsheet techniques.
