Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop comprehensive safety management strategies for sports facilities and outdoor/water sports environments.

  • Provide safety advice related to events and vetting of event layout plans to ensure all safety requirements are fulfilled. Conduct inspection to events and prepare non-compliance report.
  • Manage annual external safety audits and ensure complete organizational compliance.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive staff safety training programs and emergency response systems.
  • Provide strategic leadership in managing complex safety challenges, including wildlife interactions and extreme weather scenarios.
  • Coordinate cross-departmental safety initiatives and develop organization-wide safety standards.
  • Prepare executive-level safety performance reports and recommendations.
  • Represent the organization in safety compliance and industry safety forums.
  • Develop innovative safety technologies and procedural improvements.

Job Requirements:

  • Higher diploma or above in Safety Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in safety management, with proven leadership in sports or recreational environments.
  • Registered Safety Officer.
  • Registered Safety Auditor will be an advantage.
  • Comprehensive certifications in Occupational Safety Management and First Aid.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement complex safety strategies.
  • Exceptional leadership and strategic planning skills.
  • Proven track record of reducing safety incidents and improving organizational safety culture.
  • Expert-level knowledge of risk management and emergency preparedness.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies.
