With a rapidly growing platform and an investment in growth in the region, an international corporate bank is seeking to hire a Associate Director, Credit Risk to be responsible for assisting the management of the process of credit approval on individual credit facility proposals for Corporate customers.
Role Responsibilities
Deliver complete and independent credit analysis that covers financial risk, cashflow analysis, projections, facility structure, terms/conditions, product suitability and repayment ability, etc.
Provide sound credit judgement and advise recommendation of of credit applications for large corporates / Syndication Loan / Structured Finance for seeking approval from relevant authorities on a timely manner
Perform grading application, self-assessment, monitoring, asset disposal, that are prepared by Corporate Banking
Stay on top of high alert to creditworthiness of clients including market situations, provide advice to the related departments on proper credit-related actions whenever necessary
Prepare credit recommendation memo of applications and seek for approval from senior approver
Perform credit risk analysis to existing customers as well as industry or market research and analysis to ensure the bank's asset portfolio is in good shape
Highlight potential credit risks of customer and provide comments and recommendations to management
Prepare the credit monitoring reports such as early warning sign, covenants and fund usage;
Performs other adhoc duties from time to time assigned by the Head of Risk
Requirements
University graduate in Finance, Economics, Risk Management or related disciplines;
10-15 years' solid credit experience in large corporate banking;
Sound knowledge in various corporate lending products Bachelor degree holder or above, preferably in Finance, Banking or Economics related disciplines
Knowledge in Structured Finance, Syndication, Non-Recourse and Specialized finance
Knowledge in Greater China, mainly in PRC and Hong Kong and credit risk management with Greater China market.
Independent, attentive to details, good analytical and problem-solving skills
Capability to discuss and guide front offices from early stage of deals to make appropriate credit decision
Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills with good command of both spoken and English and Chinese
