Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a UI/UX Designer located in Hong Kong SAR. The UI/UX Designer will be responsible for designing user interfaces and experiences, creating mockups and prototypes, and collaborating with front-end developers. Day-to-day tasks include conducting user research, designing visual elements, and ensuring a coherent user journey across all platforms.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Digital Media or equivalent experience in a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in digital art and UI/UX design.
Proficiency in wireframe tools (e.g., Figma) and design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator).
Proven experience in developing User Experience deliverables for a range of projects.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
Keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality output.
Proficiency in HTML/CSS and responsive design principles.
Proficiency in front-end development frameworks such as React.js, Vue, or Flutter.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Work closely with product managers, business analysts, and software engineers to gather, document, and evaluate user and business requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical feasibility.
Conduct in-depth user research and usability testing to understand user needs, pain points, and expectations.
Develop wireframes, storyboards, and process flows to effectively illustrate design concepts and user journeys.
Create UI mock-ups and interactive prototypes that demonstrate site functionality and user interactions. Use these prototypes to gather feedback, iterate on designs, and validate business requirements.
Assist in troubleshooting UI/UX issues during testing / implementations as part of technical support to the development team.
Stay flexible and responsive to changing user requirements and project scope. Collaborate effectively with team members to incorporate feedback and refine designs.
Proactively identify and troubleshoot user experience issues, ensuring designs are responsive, accessible, and user-friendly
