Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

(1)      Business Development:

  • Set Budget & Marketing Plan: Develop annual budgets and track the ongoing performance of the assigned brands/regions. Develop and implement sales & marketing plans.
  • Organic Business Growth: Review existing business, devise revenue growth strategy and plan to achieve year-on-year account growth expectation.
  • Develop New Business: Conduct brand research, develop sales presentations, warm calls to generate leads and follow-up leads. Seek out business opportunities that are sustainability centric.
  • Generate and Facilitate Sales: Call on existing and prospective clients, secure orders, arrange delivery dates (in consultation with appropriate company personnel) and other matters to facilitate sales.
  • Client Services: Co-ordinate with project team regarding client’s requests during program. Maintain contact with clients in relation to their promotional requirements. Actively service and pre-empt client’s requirements.
  • After Sales Service: Prepare post program evaluation from client’s feedback and action plan for improvement of future programs.
  • Sourcing and Merchandising: Understand client’s requirements and provide solutions/recommendations/alternatives to meet them; liaise with internal parties when necessary. As a normal practice, proposals to have an sustainable alternative.

(2)      Marketing:

  • Research: Search all references available (internet, agency research materials, licensors, etc.) for the purposes of planning and setting creative direction. Areas of research include: trends in the marketplace, study of target demographic, programs from client’s competitors, licensed property information, etc. Compile research materials for presentation to client for justification in program pitch.
  • Write Creative Brief: Interpret all research materials/client brief to develop project goals, work plans, timelines, creative direction and identification of resources required to meet program success criteria.
  • Participate in Creative Brainstorm: Present research materials and actively participate in brainstorm with creative and engineering teams.
  • Prepare Presentation Materials: Consolidate, compile and present marketing presentations.
  • Liaise with Client and Internal Parties: Share and deliver post pitch communication, feedback, modifications and direction from the client to project team. Design an action plan to meet client’s requirements. Coordinate with project team for implementation of action plan.
  • Cross-sell: Proactively explore every possible opportunity to cross-sell group company’s other products and services.
  • Sustainability: Proactively think & market sustainable alternatives.

(3)      Account Coordination:

  • Coordinate Marketing Activities: Develop process and system for account coordination, including but not limited to client directory, program update status summary etc and inform the global team of the information.
  • Competitive Analysis: Weekly brand reports on competitor programs, develop or integrate with existing system to inform the global team of the information.
