Manage different service providers to provide professional IT infrastructure services including data center services, office infrastructure services, server room management and print services.
Monitor the performance of the service providers according to regulatory and internal requirements and ensure their performance meets the agreed service levels.
Responsible for overall IT infrastructure availability in terms of the system and service resources.
Take lead of technical projects which are related to IT infrastructure improvements.
Responsible for disaster recovery planning and performing annual drill.
Main Responsibilities:
Ensure system operations are followed closely and accurately according to the different system requirements.
Involve directly in incidents or problems that cause service impacts and acts as escalation point for incidents not being resolved in a timely manner.
Run the change control board to ensure the quality of submitted changes in terms of justifications, impact analysis, fallback planning, etc.
Involve directly in approval of urgent change requests.
Establish standards and best practices for managing infrastructure, including servers, storage, network, backup and monitoring, etc.
Implement policies/standards to improve the quality and efficiency of support services based on ITIL methodology.
Ensure that systems, processes and methodologies are maintained and followed to ensure effective monitoring and control of service delivery.
Manage the data backup and recovery for all IT systems and conduct regular recovery drills.
Ensure capacity planning and healthiness for all IT infrastructure services.
Lead the 7x24 datacenter monitoring and operation including networking and applications both on-premise and on cloud.
Maintain with the service providers the latest disaster recovery plans to ensure continual services are provided during the disaster scenarios.
Incumbent Requirements:
University graduate or equivalent professional qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or relate discipline.
Holder of ITIL or relevant certification is preferred.
At least 10 years relevant working experience in IT operations.
Solid experience in managing vendors on IT operations, change management, incident management, problem management, etc.
Proficient in Microsoft products including Windows Server, Office 365, Active Directory, Group Policy, etc.
Solid experience in Virtualization, SAN storage, Unix/Linux and network design.
Solid experience in managing server room facilities and office infrastructure such as Wifi services, IP Phone system, etc.
Working experience in designing, executing and supporting central IT infrastructure, and Cloud solutions.
Good command of written and spoken English.
