This is Head of Claims position. You would lead team of 10 and report to Chief Operation Officer.

My client is one of the fast growing General Insurance Companies. They are determined to provide customers a seamless and instant insurance and claims experience via technology.

Description

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a team of claims and hotline personnel to evaluate and authorise new claims, complaints, and complex cases within the designated authority, while managing customer expectations through the provision of adaptable solutions.
  • Facilitate ongoing training and assistance to elevate the team's professional expertise and standards.
  • Collaborate proficiently with cross-functional divisions and external stakeholders to guarantee timely project delivery, adherence to budgetary constraints, and alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Guarantee the delivery of effective and efficient operational procedures and services in alignment with the Company's requirements.
  • Offer suggestions and participate in initiatives to improve internal processes.
  • Coordinate and help with UAT tasks such as test plan development, test case creation, pre-UAT quality assurance, bug fix monitoring, retest progress, UAT reporting, and post-implementation monitoring.
  • Provide management guidance and criticism to help simplify procedures and workflow.

Profile

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in GI claim processing including 5+ years in managerial positions
  • Customer-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong sense of responsibility with a high level of integrity and trust
  • Good communication and time management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel), and Chinese word processing is necessary.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written in English and Chinese
  • Strong team player, willing to learn, able to work independently and under pressure
  • Highly organized self-starter, capable of leading multiple projects to meet tight deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
