This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 2 years with possibility for renewal subject to organisation need and individual performance.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out daily inspection, workmanship monitoring and testing & commissioning of the CAPEX works
• Coordinate with internal and external parties to ensure the works are conducted in a safe and efficient manner with minimal impact to daily airport operations and completed on time
• Coordinate with design, maintenance and operation teams to ensure timely delivery and completion of works
• Assist in budget control and expenditure of the works
• Review and comment on the contractor’s submissions of method statement, site management plan, programme, etc
• Ensure all construction works are in compliance with the specifications
• Assist in handing over the completed projects to Fault Response Team and Maintenance Teams
• Assist in managing works contractors and monitoring the quality of works
• Perform shift duties including overnight shift or weekend shift if required for the completion of the works

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma / Higher Certificate or above in Buildings Studies, Facilities Management, Building Surveying, Structural Engineering or other related disciplines with at least 8 years' relevant working experience in supervision of building construction, fit-out works, infrastructure construction and maintenance works. Degree holders with 4 years' relevant working experience will also be considered
• Candidates without the above specified academic qualification but have 12 years' relevant working experience will also be considered
• Solid experience in supervision of airport works especially under a live operating environment is an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office application
• Holder of a valid HK driving license (Class 1 and 2)
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
