As a Quality Manager (f/m/x) you will be part of the Quality Team, which includes 8 team members from diverse backgrounds. What makes our team unique is our love for Products. The goal of the position is to work on improving and assuring the quality of our products. Exciting projects will be coming soon as seasonal brand-new launches. What you will do:

• Assure new products meet internal and market standards through rigorous testing and validation
• Follow up with suppliers to develop and implement Corrective Action Plans, addressing any quality issues promptly
• Monitor supplier quality and take proactive actions to mitigate potential issues on new and existing items
• Support cost reduction and improvement initiatives by validating samples, challenging suppliers, and benchmarking against competitors
• Manage and approve Pre-Shipment inspection reports, ensuring adherence to stringent quality control measures
• Propose and initiate changes, defining Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to enhance quality processes
• Conduct technical audits at supplier factories, defining Corrective Action Plans and developing roadmaps for quality improvement
• Liaise with vendors and 3rd party testing lab to complete and maintain the technical files.
• Follow up with suppliers of complaint and return cases
  
  

What we are looking for:

• Degree in electrical (preferable) or mechanical engineering or a comparable professional experience
• Experience with home appliance, ideally in e-commerce and retail industries
• At least 5 years of professional experience, ideally in different areas, to demonstrate a broad understanding of the business (e.g. quality management, operations, R&D, sourcing)
• Extensive background in Quality Management, demonstrating a track record of maintaining high standards
• Experience in sample testing with electronic/electric items
• Preferably proficiency in driving cost reduction initiatives and implementing effective strategies
• Hands-on and proactive approach, taking ownership of quality outcomes
• Willingness to travel frequently to China mainland for supplier visits
• Excellent command of English, with exceptional communication skills
