Good opportunities for Quantity Surveyors aspiring to become professionals in handling construction disputes.
Applicants should have a minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience, preferably with both building projects and civil engineering projects, gained from working for main contractors and / or consultants.
Job Responsibilities to include providing quantity surveying functions by assisting our team with:
Claims research / organising information;
Preparing claim submissions;
Analysing matters in dispute, including entitlement to quantum and delay;
Ascertaining contractual positions with respect to disputes;
Performing general QS duties including:
Valuation of variations;
Interim payments;
Cost control;
Final account preparation;
Quantities take-off / Re-measurement;
Preparation of tender documents etc.
Maintaining databank
Candidates should be:
Meticulous / detail orientated
Disciplined
Good time management
Willing to learn
Have good analytical, communication and presentation skills
Positive and proactive attitude with strong sense of responsibility
Ethical and honest
Job Requirements:
Degree / Associate Degree / Higher Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
NEC4 ECC Accredited PM accreditation desirable
Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Putonghua desirable, but not essential.
Good computer knowledge, preferably in Excel, Word, Access, CAD
