The Faculty of Business is an AACSB-accredited one aiming at continuous improvements of our academic level and education service in the liberal arts setting.  The Faculty plays an important role in educating students about cutting-edge, practical knowledge and skills, improving students' academic and professional capabilities, as well as enhancing students' awareness on social responsibilities.  Furthermore, we have been devoting every effort to the sustainable development of Lingnan University in the academic community and the substantive realization of our values and mission in the Hong Kong society and the world.

The appointee is expected to take up a wide range of administrative duties for Hong Kong Institute of Business Studies.  Major duties include but are not limited to:

Responsibilities

  • Provide executive support to research units of Hong Kong Institute of Business Studies
  • Assist in day-to-day office administration and prepare documentation for the units
  • Liaise with internal and external parties
  • Plan and organize events such as seminars, conferences, forums and etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)

The appointee may also be required to undertake certain administrative duties for taught postgraduate programme(s) of the Faculty of Business.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree or above, with at least 2 years of solid experience in tertiary education sector
  • A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
  • Strong report writing ability and analytical skill to carry out administrative duties independently and efficiently
  • A high level of competence in MS office applications and CMS management

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test.

Salary and Benefits

Commencing salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund, and gratuity.
