A renowned apparel retailer with a long-standing history in the market is seeking a Sourcing Director.

The person will lead an established team, overseeing all sourcing operations and driving change management initiatives.

Reporting into C-level management, you will be responsible for:-

• Lead a team across multiple regions in APAC area
• Develop long term business partnerships with suitable vendors and consolidate/expand sourcing base when necessary
• Establish key short and long term sourcing strategies for various product categories
• Be aware of various law & political influences from various sourcing bases and continuously evaluating opportunities and threats to the company's sourcing business
• Define and execute internal operations to ensure responsibilities are carried out and communication channels are clear and smooth
• Provide an effective, efficient and competent supplier matrix
• Collaborate closely with vendors to assist them in developing their capabilities and capacity to assist long term cost saving

Requirements:-

• Bachelor degree or above in textiles, supply chain management or related discipline
• Excellent apparel sourcing knowledge, with solid experience working for major and international companies
• Must have strong technical knowledge in textiles and manufacturing processes
• Strategic mindset, excellent business acumen and numerical awareness
• Willing to travel frequently
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• English and Chinese languages are required
