Key Accountabilities or Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing preventative and corrective maintenance programs and implementing them as required for all fixed and mobile site equipment and facilities including the leachate and landfill gas management system components efficiently, effectively and safely
• Ensure all the discharges are within the limits prescribed by Contract and in accordance with ISO14001 & ISO45001 standards
• Ensure all environmental criteria related to the leachate treatment plant, gas and leachate management systems and the Aftercare facilities meet the Company’s standard and are in compliance with contract requirements, legal requirements and the environmental management systems
• Make sure that the continuous monitoring system at the leachate treatment plant is calibrated and maintained in an efficient manner
• Assist in efficiently, effectively and safely managing and maintaining the landscaping, drainage, road and the infrastructure facilities
• To be directly responsible for the inventory for all the plant and tools at site within defined procedures and to propose the replenishment of the inventory as required
• Develop and update on a regular basis works programs and ensure the successful execution of works on time
• Ensure all Aftercare activities are carried out in accordance with the Company’s Management System and assist in maintaining the Environmental, Health & Safety with respect to documentation and field compliance
• Report any potential problem and provide proposal recommendation as required
• Assist in preparation of working schedule, drawings and maintenance report

Job Requirements:

• At least 2 years work experience in Landfill, Environmental, Processing, E&M or related discipline
• Higher Certificate or Degree holder in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or Environmental Science or equivalent
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
• Candidates with a valid Class 1 and 2 driving license, an electrical license, and a certificate as a safety supervisor are preferred
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision needed
