Part-Time Project Manager, Lingnan Arts Biennale

Office of the Faculty of Arts

(Post Ref.: 25/91)


The appointee is expected to coordinate the Lingnan Arts Biennale (LAB), a university-wide arts and cultural event, under the Faculty of Arts.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all matters related to the LAB, including but not limited to marketing and promotion, programme management, liaison with artists and venue providers etc.
  • Provide administrative, logistics and event on-site support
  • Maintain LAB website and other social media platforms
  • Develop and execute social media strategies and promotional plan
  • Liaise with departments and units within and outside the University
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by LAB Convenor

 

Requirements

  • A recognized degree with relevant working experience, preferably in Arts Administration
  • A good understanding in art exhibition, film screening and/or stage management would be an advantage
  • A good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
  • A high level of competence in computer literacy including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and webpage applications
  • Strong problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attentive to details, independent, well organized and a good team player


Salary and Benefits

Commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Appointment will normally be made on contract basis for 6 - 7 months.
