Job Description:

  • Oversees the daily operation and guest appeal of 2 iclub hotels
  • Directs the maintenance team on repair and maintenance work
  • Ensures full compliance in all Engineering departmental standard, policies & procedures and statutory requirements.
  • Prepare documents to put out tenders for contractors
  • Project management & supervising and coordinating works of contractors
  • Plan for future development on specific engineering or building works on existing facility when necessary and in line with strategic business objectives
  • Direct and plan essential central services such as repair and maintenance within the hotel areas; feasibility studies on improving the existing facilities
  • Plans and prepares Engineering Department budget for Capital expenditures and operational expenditures
  • Liaise with various government authorities and departments to ensure that statutory requirements relating to building control, safety and health hazards are complied with

 

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or above in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering
  • Holder of Registered Electrical Worker License Grade B, Green Card, Boiler / Heater Certificate as well as Certificate of certified workers in confined spaced or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in repair or maintenance of Engineering plant with 5 years’ experience in Hospitality Industry
  • Familiar with Hong Kong Government Licensing Regulations
  • Familiar with local building, fire services installation and E&M regulations
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skill
  • Good planning and organization skill
  • Proficiency in PC knowledge including MS Office applications & Chinese word-processing
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
