Reporting to the Director of Finance and Business Support, the role will assist in overseeing the financial operations and accounting functions of the Hotel.

Key accountabilities 

• Prepare and analyze financial reports, ensuring accuracy and completion in timely manner.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing valuable insights to support financial planning.
• Monitor and control expenses, identifying opportunities for cost reductions and efficiency improvements.
• Support the month-end closing process by preparing journal entries and performing reconciliations.
• Provide coaching to the team and compile relevant guidelines or deploy new technologies to enhance and streamline the operations processes.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to provide financial guidance and support decision-making processes.
• Keep abreast of the market situation and ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance with local regulations and Group policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; a professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, or similar) is preferred. At least 4 years of experience at management level, preferably in renowned hotel chains or properties.
• Strong business acumen with meticulous and analytical mind
• Demonstration of leadership with resilience and determination 
• Computer savvy and well versed with relevant analytical tools. Conversant with the SunSystem is an absolute advantage.
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Putonghua.
