Job Responsibilities:
Procurement Strategy:
Source and acquire aircraft parts, components, consumables and material.
Source and acquire equipment and materials for the Part-145 operations.
Deal with various vendors to obtain quotes and process PO to release orders.
Assist in process development and sourcing new vendors.
Arrange and coordinate with the freight forwarder
Assist with the regulatory and taxes compliance documentation as required
Vendor Management:
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors.
Establish and maintain relationships with aircraft manufacturers, dealers, and service providers.
Negotiation:
Review and approve purchase orders and contracts to ensure compliance with organizational policies.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance teams to define specifications and requirements for aircraft procurement.
Work closely with regulatory and compliance teams to ensure all acquisitions meet legal and safety standards.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay informed about advancements in procurement technology and methodologies.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experiences, Supply Chain Management, Aviation Management, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the aviation or aerospace industry.
Candidates with knowledge of aviation regulations and compliance standards would be ideal.
Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Proficiency in English and Cantonese is required.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Holding a Hong Kong driver license class 2 would be ideal
Working Conditions:
Office environment with occasional travel for supplier meetings and site visits.
May require working under tight deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
