Role Purpose:

We are seeking a Data Science Lead to drive innovation and lead the development of AI solutions within the AI Lab. This role requires strong expertise in machine learning and optimization techniques. The successful candidate will lead projects, mentor a team, and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful AI-driven solutions.

​A typical day in this Role:

• Lead and manage AI Lab projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and alignment with organizational goals.

• Engage with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to define project scopes, objectives, and success metrics.

• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of machine learning and Deep Learning models.

• Ensure best practices in model training, evaluation, and deployment, emphasizing scalability, efficiency, and accuracy.

• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of data scientists, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

• Work closely with engineering, product, and business teams to integrate AI solutions into business operations, translating complex data insights into actionable strategies.

Success will depend on:

• Academic background in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field

• Solid knowledge and experience in various machine learning and statistical techniques.

• Strong knowledge of Python, SQL, and familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Proven ability to deliver AI/Data Science solutions in fast-paced, agile environments using scalable, reusable code and models.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams and presenting to stakeholders.

• Experience in developing and deploying optimization solutions (e.g., linear programming, constraint-based optimization, heuristic methods) is highly preferred

• Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) is a plus
