About the Role

This role is pivotal in driving our company’s development strategy to expand profitability through effective cost containment in life and health insurance claims. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in both life and health insurance, with a strong background in medical systems and health management services.

Responsibilities:

Claims Operational Best Practice

  • Lead initiatives to optimize claims assessment rules and cost containment within life and health insurance operations.
  • Implement best practices to streamline processes and reduce unnecessary expenditures.
  • Analyze claims data to identify cost drivers and develop strategies to mitigate.

Claims Cost/Risk and Network Integration

  • Utilize your solid medical background to close collaboration and support network providers/panel doctors to define selected packages, discount, ensure R&C and medically necessary procedure performed.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to equip doctors with the skills needed to understand insurance protocols.

Claims Management and Optimization

  • Assist in the review and assessment of complex insurance claims, leveraging medical expertise to ensure accurate and fair evaluations.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to enhance the claims handling capabilities.
  • Work closely with other departments to align cost containment strategies with overall business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a medical field, a master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of life and health insurance claims management, cost containment specialty with 5 years of team management experience.
  • Health management and risk control related experience is preferred.
  • Solid work experience in Life and Health insurance industry with specialties in claims, cost containments.Management and training experience.
  • Strong leadership skills, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving, strong analytical skills and communications skills
