Job Title: Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Responsibilities

1. Technical Leadership & Strategy:

- Define and execute the company's technical vision, roadmap, and architecture for high-concurrency, low-latency trading systems.

- Lead the design and implementation of scalable, fault-tolerant platforms capable of handling millions of transactions per second.

- Drive innovation in blockchain integration, consensus mechanisms, and decentralized exchange (DEX) protocols.

2. System Architecture & Optimization:

- Architect and optimize mission-critical exchange systems (order matching, market data dissemination, risk engines) for sub-millisecond latency.

- Implement distributed systems using consensus algorithms (e.g., JRaft, Raft, Paxos) to ensure data consistency and system resilience.

- Oversee infrastructure design for cloud-native environments (AWS/GCP/Azure) and on-premise deployments.

3. Team Building & Management:

- Recruit, mentor, and lead a global engineering team specializing in blockchain, distributed systems, and low-latency trading.

- Foster a culture of technical excellence, agility, and continuous improvement.

4. Security & Compliance:

- Ensure platform security through robust encryption, zero-trust architectures, and real-time threat detection.

- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to meet regulatory requirements (e.g., AML, KYC).

5. Industry Collaboration:

- Represent the company in Web3/blockchain communities, conferences, and open-source projects.

Requirements

1. Experience:

- 10+ years in software engineering, with 5+ years in senior leadership roles (CTO, VP Engineering, or similar).

- Proven track record of building high-frequency trading platforms, crypto exchanges, or fintech systems handling 10k+ TPS.

- Deep expertise in low-latency system design (microsecond-level optimizations, kernel bypass, FPGA/ASIC acceleration).

2. Technical Skills:

- Mastery of distributed systems, consensus algorithms (JRaft proficiency is a strong plus), and peer-to-peer networks.

- Expertise in blockchain protocols (EVM, Cosmos, Solana), smart contracts, and DeFi ecosystems.

- Fluency in Go/C++/Rust, real-time databases (Redis, MemSQL), and messaging systems (Kafka, Aeron).

3. Web3 Expertise:

- Hands-on experience with decentralized technologies (IPFS, Libp2p) and cross-chain interoperability solutions.

- Familiarity with tokenomics, NFT marketplaces, or decentralized identity systems.

4. Leadership Traits:

- Strategic thinker with the ability to balance technical debt, scalability, and business goals.

- Exceptional communication skills to align technical teams, executives, and external stakeholders.

5. Preferred Qualifications:

- PhD/MS in Computer Science, Cryptography, or related fields.

- Contributions to open-source blockchain projects (e.g., Hyperledger, Ethereum).

- Experience with regulatory frameworks in global markets (MiCA, FATF).
