Assistant Manager/ Officer, Credit Approval (Vehicle Finance)

To review, analyze and support / approve credit application; approve credit excesses and irregularities; take up credit-related projects.
Main Responsibilities:
- Approve credit applications within delegated lending authority
- Analyze and review credit applications beyond the delegated authority for higher authority level’s decision making
- Monitor compliance with credit policies and guidelines
- Approve credit excesses and irregularities within the delegated lending authority
- Identify potential problem loan situation and, if necessary, working with relationship manager to take early remedial actions including loan/credit restructuring
- Assist in formulating and reviewing credit policies and guidelines
- Take up credit-related projects
Incumbent Requirements:
- University degree or above with major in Banking, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accountancy or related discipline
- Minimum 8 years’ credit experience in commercial banking
- Professional qualification such as Certified Banker (CB), or ECF on Credit Risk Management (CRM) is preferred
- Knowledge of commercial banking products including trade finance
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements
- Good knowledge in accounting principles and financial statements analysis
- Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
- Candidate with less experience will be considered as Manager
