What the role is?

  • Support Delivery Lead in managing and overseeing business solution for new product/product Day2 items.
  • Work closely with internal business users, different IT digital teams and external vendors to understand business and functional requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure implementation consistency across difference platforms.
  • Work closely with development team and testing resources to ensure that implementation adheres to requirements.
  • Define and communicate system requirements to relevant development teams, including upstream and downstream systems.
  • Work with testing team to define test requirements, test scope and test schedule.
  • Lead process of test case and test data preparation, as well as test execution.
  • Report defects found and work closely with development team on finding fix.
  • Regularly report test results to working team, team lead and relevant stakeholders.
  • Act as secondary contact for production support.

 

What we look for?

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related discipline (preferred).
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT project management.
  • Experience in Life Insurance Products is a must.
  • Experience in Life Insurance Proposal, Illustration, Product features implementation in Core Life Administration system is a must.
  • Experience in Product Engine platform to setup product (preferred).
  • Industry certifications such as PMP and Prince2 are highly regarded; Agile Certified/Scrum Master is a plus.
  • Experience managing digital product, Life Insurance Core system, and technology upgrades is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, SDLC, Agile) and associated challenges.
  • Proven ability to analyse and communicate governance, compliance trends, and program requirements.
  • Experience in vendor management for successful project delivery.
  • Background in the insurance or finance sectors is preferred.
  • Ability to engage effectively with all personnel levels across the organization.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and customer service skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities with critical thinking skills.
  • Adaptable to ambiguity and change, with a solid understanding of IT architecture and integration.
  • A team player with effective interpersonal skills and presentation abilities.
  • Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, with strong report writing skills.

Technical skills required but not limited to:

  • Operating Systems: Unix, Linux, Windows
  • Application Development: Java, Visual Basic.NET, Visual C#.NET, Shell script, DOS, HTML5, CSS, Javascript, Struts, SOAP, Restful Web Services, Mulesoft, JSON, JQuery
  • Database Development: Oracle PL/SQL, SQL Plus, SQL Server SQL Programming and SSIS, MySQL
  • Reporting & BI: Jasper Report/iReport, Crystal Report, Fine Report, QlikSense
  • Printing: SIP, Quadient/GMC
  • Knowledge in UiPath, Salesforce, Tomcat, Apache is an advantage
