Our client is a leading global professional services firm that delivers performance improvement, turnaround management and corporate advisory services to organizations seeking to transform operations, catapult growth and accelerate results through decisive actions.

Due to tremendous demand within Asia region, they are looking to hire a Senior Specialist, TA & Development. Based in Hong Kong, this position will report to the Regional Head of Human Resources.  The incumbent will be part of the Asia supporting team and act as a business partner by having key relationships with the global HR teams, business leaders and team members of various practices/business units in Asia as well as the various functional teams.  He/she will assist the Regional Head of Human Resources to partner closely with business leaders across Asia in order to support talent identification and acquisition, talent development, staff retention and succession planning for Asia.  He/she will also support other HR initiatives to help build a high-performance team and culture to align and achieve business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain the best talents to support the growth of Asia.

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment processes via understanding manpower needs and requirements of various practices/business units.

  • Facilitate effective and efficient recruitment channels and manage vendor relationships.

  • Facilitate performance management process and to identify development needs and competency gaps; establish appropriate learning and development solutions to address needs and enhance capabilities to build up talent pool.

  • Design and implement various talent management and leadership development initiatives such as mentoring program, succession planning to support the long-term business strategies.

  • Drive employee engagement programs to retain and motivate staff.

  • Provide other HR operational support across Asia.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree holder with at least 5-8 years’ experience in talent acquisition, recruitment and talent development, preferably in consulting or/and professional services industry.

  • Regional or Greater China experience is essential.

  • Consistently apply a high standard of professionalism and business ethics.

  • Good communication skills with a multi-cultural perspective and fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese.

  • Excellent relationship management skill with strong commercial sense to interact and negotiate with various parties.

  • Strong facilitation skills and business acumen.

  • A team player and able to build and maintain strong professional relationships across practices within Asia.

  • Objective, fact-based approach to problem solving. Able to be flexible in dealing with a wide variety of issues and priorities.

  • Hands-on and non-hierarchical operator who relates well at all levels and cultures.  Thrives in a fast-paced and challenging environment with a high tolerance for ambiguity.

  • Maturity, integrity and drive to create impact and build relationships.  Driven by values and integrity and able to build confidence at all levels.
