Library Exhibitions Designer (24250174)

Are eager to bring dynamic exhibitions to life in both physical and digital spaces? The University Library is seeking an energetic, creative, and self-motivated Library Exhibitions Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to to conceptualise, design, and coordinate the installation of exhibitions in the Main Library and to develop and showcase digital exhibitions that engage and inspire our community.

Responsibilities:

• Conceptualise, design, and coordinate the installation of exhibitions in the Main Library;
• Develop and showcase digital exhibitions using storytelling techniques; and
• Collaborate with the Library team as well as students, faculty, and staff to deliver high-quality exhibitions that reflect our library's mission and community endeavours.

Requirements:

• A University Degree;
• Four to six years of relevant experience in exhibition management or a related field
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua);
• Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and balance multiple projects and deadlines;
• A collaborative mindset, capable of working independently and as part of a team;
• Expertise in graphic design, with strong skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign;
• Experience with digital platforms and tools for creating engaging digital exhibitions; and
• Familiarity with museums and/or libraries is desirable.

Reference salary range: HK$27,665 – HK$47,675

The initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of two years, with the possibility of re-appointment based on mutual agreement and funding availability.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
