Responsibilities:

• To oversee, inspect, test and examine the materials used, the workmanship, the installation method and procedure employed by the Contractor for all building services and E&M works (or named as BS works), including works manufactured / fabricated off site with the assistance of the site supervisory staff.
• To check and ensure the materials used and workmanship employed by the Contractor for all building services and E&M works are in compliance with the Employer’s Requirements (ER), specification, drawings, accepted design and construction procedures and testing and commissioning procedures.
• To check and ensure only the accepted design drawings and specification are used for installation / construction.
• To identify defective or substandard building services and E&M works, materials and workmanship which do not comply with the ER, specifications, drawings, accepted design construction procedures 
• and testing and commissioning procedures, and to co-ordinate and witness the performance of appropriate tests and remedial works on the defective or substandard building services and E&M works.
• To communicate among the Designers, the Contractor, user departments, the Project Manager and his delegates, the site technical staff, the Building Services Co-ordinator(s), the Testing and Commissioning Team and the BS Designer, etc on building services and E&M related matters, in connection with the Site Agent on builder’s work and RSS on other disciplines.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Building Services Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant post-professional qualification experience.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experiences in building services coordincation in hospital/ healthcare projects.
• Registered Professional Engineer of Hong Kong Insitution of Engineers (HKIE) in Building Services Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Discipline, or equipvalent
