We are looking for talents for the position of Accounting Officer in our Finance team.

Responsibilities:

Accounting Officer is the active propeller for day-to-day financial tasks and essentially supports the smooth operations of all departments. Reporting to the Accountant, he/she should be a self-motivated team player with a “can-do” attitude.

• Mainly focus on Accounts Payable, ensuring accurate processing of payments and invoices within expected time periods
• Prepare settlement cheques to vendors according to schedules as per company policy and/or the contractual arrangement as agreed
• Maintain accounts payable voucher register, cheque register, invoice register and other accounts payable records
• Perform month end closing for accounts payable sections
• Handle inquiries internally and externally
• Perform other accounting duties and ad hoc assignment as required

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Finance, Accountancy or related disciplines
• Relevant working experience in similar position, preferably in hospitality industry
• Hands-on experience in Sun Accounting System & Opera (PMS) is an advantage
• Proficient in MS Office applications and Material Control System
• Strong sense of responsibility, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Details-oriented, excellent communication skills and strong sense of responsibility
