Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of sourcing, procurement and warehousing professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
  • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure suppliers meet company standard
  • Explore new materials, suppliers and channels to uphold optimal quality and pricing
  • Evaluate and improve department policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • Identify potential risks in the supply chain and provide insights to senior management with prompt mitigation strategies/actions
  • Utilize data and analytics to drive decision-making to improve department operations
  • Work closely with all stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for routine operations and ad hoc assignments
  • Ensure department activities comply with relevant laws, codes, regulations, and company/group policies
  • Act as the key focal point with the group for any relevant matters

 

Requirements

  • Degree in logistics or supply chain management, or a related discipline
  • At least 18 years of experience in procurement and warehouse operations, including not less than 8 years at supervisory level.  Previous experience in healthcare/hospital is desirable
  • Well-versed in the latest supply chain technology and automation development
  • Pro-active and good team-player
