Hasbro is looking for a creative and passionate Graphic Designer who possesses a fearless drive to help us change the creative landscape. This role engages in boundary-pushing thinking and drives strong visual strategy and storytelling with team members in the US and Hong Kong. Hasbro has been an industry leader for over 100 years and home to the great brands you grew up with. We are also constantly innovating and creating the next generations of childhood memories, and we need your help to do it!

Graphic Designers, with the support of creative leadership, work both hands-on and with external partners on a wide variety of creative projects. They move at a fast pace and collaborate with a team. The position reports to the Creative Manager and is responsible for working with the team on creative development for existing and new business.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop package layouts based on brand DNA
  • Create packaging related presentation assets
  • Consider and apply QA and legal package requirements and apply to packaging
  • Partner with Structural Engineers to create break-frame packaging
  • Identify new printing techniques & packaging trends
  • Create iconography, logos, and informational graphics
  • Art Direct and prep for photo shoots
  • Work with team to achieve key milestones/delivery dates
  • Ensure alignment with cross functional teams
  • Explore and present trend research


Skills

  • Contribute to creative strategy with cross-functional team on individual project basis
  • Strong understanding of Hasbro’s production and printing process
  • Plan and produce artwork within the budget and timeline
  • Negotiate with vendors
  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Highly proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, InDesign, Word, Excel
  • High level of creativity, passion, and integrity
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Organized and able to multi-task in a high-volume environment
  • Ability to thrive in a changing environment


Qualificactoins:

  • B.F.A. in Graphic Design or Fine Arts; or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years’ experience in related industry
