Background

ENGL E110 English for Effective Communication I: Listening and Speaking is a 5-credit-unit, 1000-level course which focuses on developing learners' basic skills and knowledge in English listening and speaking and enhancing learners' English proficiency in listening and speaking in academic, social and workplace contexts..

Major Duties And Responsibilities

The appointee shall mainly be responsible for the following:

• Conducting the Oral Examination at Lo Wu Correctional Institute; and
• Invigilating the Listening Examination at Lo Wu Correctional Institute.
  
  

Candidates

Candidates Should Possess The Following Qualifications, Experience And Competence:

• A Master’s degree, in English Studies/ English Teaching / Linguistics/ Education, and/or other related disciplines;
• Preference will be given to those who have experience in teaching and invigilating examinations at tertiary level.
