Responsibilities
Technical Support: Provide pre-sales technical support to consultant teams and directly to customers, assisting with equipment, hardware, and service configurations.
RFP/RFI Management: Technical review and response to Request for Proposals (RFP) and Request for Information (RFI) documents.
Customer Engagement: Attend customer meetings to present technical content and solutions, ensuring alignment with client needs.
Proof of Concept: Conduct proof of concept demonstrations to validate solutions for prospective customers.
Solution Verification: Take responsibility for the technical verification and sign-off of solution designs, configurations, and interoperability assessments.
Documentation: Create and maintain pre-defined documentation for technical handovers to project teams.
Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest product developments and industry trends to provide informed recommendations.
Escalation Support: Act as an escalation point for sales managers and installation engineers regarding previously sold projects.
Server Infrastructure Design: Collaborate with the IT team to design and plan the server infrastructure for print management solutions, considering factors such as performance, scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness.
Skills and Qualifications
Understanding of print management solutions and related technologies, including server infrastructure design and implementation is a plus
Solid understanding of networking concepts, protocols, components, and configurations to support integrated print management solutions.
Proficiency in Windows Server environments, including installation, configuration, and management of server roles and features.
Ability to work collaboratively with consultant teams, customers, and technical staff.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical challenges.
Information Technology / Computer Science degree is required
