The Department
Under the Finance Division, the Investment Office in HKJC is responsible for managing investments, operations and risk matters related to the Club’s portfolio.
The Job
- This position straddles the Investment and Investment Operations team.
- Act as coordinator to work with Banks/Brokers to identify the right products to not only implement investment ideas but also fully understand product features and their front to back implications across operations, accounting, tax and legal etc. Support operations to evaluate appropriateness and prepare BAU process ahead of trade execution.
- Episodic trade execution across different asset class (equities, fixed income, currencies and commodities) in cash, derivatives and structured products.
- Note that this is primarily a project-oriented role and does not involve high volume, flow-oriented trade execution.
About You
Skills and qualifications:
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance or related discipline;
- 5-10 years of financial markets related working experience in trade execution and related operations;
- Knowledge across equities, fixed income, currencies and commodities;
- Cash, derivatives and structured products;
- Operational knowledge across life-cycle of trades;
- Project coordination and management skills;
- Fluent in written and spoken English;
- Bloomberg, MS-Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Terms of Employment
