Group Finance aims to deliver world-class standards in reporting, financial planning and finance processes. We provide insights and analyses that help the bank make sound business decisions – whether in the areas of product development or customer profitability. We also provide capital management, business planning, forecasting, and tax and accounting advisory services.

 

Responsibilities

  • Formulate, plan and execute Finance strategies and initiatives aligned with the Bank’s strategic direction.
  • Manage unit scorecard and budget plan, including targets, performance monitoring and identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead preparation of Finance management reports and presentations for senior management forums.
  • Manage strategic projects within Finance. Collaborate closely with Finance and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful implementation of Finance strategies.
  • Research best practices and market trends, to provide strategic insights to senior management for informed decision-making.
  • Provide support to the team in (i) employee journey enhancement and support transformation for future growth of Finance with positive employee engagement; (ii) risk governance to support the management team in risk oversight and decision making.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in areas of Banking & Finance, Economics or related majors preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years' banking-related working experience, with a focus on strategic planning preferred.
  • Sound business acumen with long-term vision in driving the formulation of Finance strategies.
  • Effective stakeholder management, interpersonal, influencing & problem solving skills, with the ability to engage a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Proven project management skill in leading and mobilizing cross-teams and managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Committed, self-motivated and action-oriented personality with a strong sense of ownerships.
