Responsibilities:

• Assistant IT Manager to monitor IT services and provide technical support and assistance to hotel staff and guests on IT related issues including infrastructure, desktop PC and mobile devices
• Troubleshoot hardware and software; Alert hotel management and operations if necessary
• Evaluate IT risks and provide recommendations to improve the security controls
• Ensure that IT systems, infrastructure, security solutions, operation procedures are implemented in compliance with Group standard
• Prepare the IT budget including the review of purchase request and recommendation in vendor selection for management review and approval
• Any ad-hoc projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Advanced Diploma or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
• Minimum 6 - 8 years relevant IT experience and preferable in hospitality industry
• Strong knowledge of IT applications, especially in Opera, POS, Material Control (MC) & Lotus Notes
• Experience on Windows server, general network setup, device configuration, WiFi setup, virtualization platforms
• Familiar with TCP/IP, network systems, router, firewall and video conference
• Well-organized, strong sense of responsibility and detailed-oriented.   Ability to work independently and maintain effectiveness under pressure
• Strong problem-solving skills, and flexible to provide IT support during office hours and non-office hours
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
