About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Trade Officer to support their trade finance and treasury operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a structured and professional environment, collaborating with a dedicated finance team. The ideal candidate will manage financial transactions, liaise with banks, and ensure smooth operational workflows. Responsibilities
- Manage daily Export LC, Import/Export Bills transactions, collections, and settlements.
- Coordinate with banks for LC issuance, Import/Export Bills negotiation, and discrepancy resolution.
- Provide support to colleagues on trade finance-related inquiries.
- Prepare and analyze daily and monthly departmental reports.
- Conduct daily treasury operations, including fund squaring.
- Liaise with banks for FX contracts, loans, deposits, and KYC reviews.
- Assist in cash flow forecasting, FX analysis, and interest rate monitoring.
- Generate daily and monthly treasury reports.
- Support ad hoc assignments as required.
Requirements
- degree holder is mandatory, with 2-3 years of experience in trade finance operations.
- Prior experience in bills operations at banks or commercial firms , and Experience in treasury operations within banks or commercial firms is advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of trade documents & UCP (Uniform Customs and Practice) is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, responsible, self-motivated, Stable and adaptable.
- Good command in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English (Japanese is an advantage).
- Immediate availability is preferred.
