We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as WPB CDD Manager, to support the Customer Due Diligence (CDD) function under the WPB Non-Financial Risk.
Principal responsibilities
Oversee the processing of complex CDD and EDD profile reviews for HASE WPB and Private Banking (individual and entity) customers in accordance with relevant CDD procedures
Drive continuous improvements for HASE WPB CDD review workflows in terms of customer experience, deliverable quality and operational efficiency
Support the WPB CFC financial crime control execution via ad-hoc SOI reviews, risk mitigation measure and/or remediation deployment
Collaborate with relevant onshore and offshore stakeholders including Group / local Business Units, Financial Crime Compliance, Operations servicing the HASE WPB CDD functions to ensure effective CDD controls
Requirements
University Graduate in Business, Finance, Accounting and Technology disciplines
At least 8 years of experience in financial services industry preferably in the capacity of regulatory, compliance and operational risk related areas, with proven track record of managing operations teams
Functional domain knowledge and experience on Know-Your-Customer and Customer Due Diligence within the Private Banking or Commercial Banking environment would be an advantage
Able to build strong rapports with stakeholders at different levels and drive collaborations for delivery of operational outcomes under pressure and within tight time frames
Proficient in English
Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and quality deliverables
