Job responsibility:
Design and develop a scalable digital twins platform to simulate and visualize real-world systems in a virtual environment.
Build custom tools, workflows, and features to support dynamic digital twin use cases, such as real-time monitoring, simulations, or predictive analytics.
Integrate and optimize 3D models and assets into the platform, ensuring compatibility with standard formats and tools.
Work with designers or external partners to adapt or create 3D content for accurate virtual representations.
Connect the platform to live data sources (e.g., IoT, sensors) to enable real-time synchronization between virtual and physical twins.
Incorporate data feeds and analytics into the platform to enhance functionality, such as tracking performance or generating insights.
Rapidly prototype digital twin concepts (e.g., virtual factories, robotics testing, or smart environments) to validate ideas and iterate based on feedback.
Test and troubleshoot platform features to ensure reliability, performance, and scalability.
Requirements:
Higher Diploma / Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or any related disciplines;
With solid understanding of mathematics and computer science fundamentals (e.g., linear algebra, algorithms, data structures).
Proficient in C++, Python, or JavaScript, proficient in commonly used data structures and algorithms;
Familiar with 3D development, simulations, or digital twins concepts.
With excellent problem-solving skills, able to work independently and adapt quickly in an environment with limited resources.
Willing to learn new tools and technologies on the job.
Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Putonghua).
Preferably with a certain understanding and enthusiasm for virtual digital humans (AI Metahuman), VR, AR industries and sectors.
Bonus: Experience with GIS systems, real-time data processing, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), Experience integrating data from IoT systems/APIs or 3D platforms like Unity/Unreal Engine.
